Lovejoy defeated Sherman behind a strong pitching performance from Senior Brett Lanman. The big lefty struck out 11 over six shutout innings allowing only two hits. Parker Livingstone pitched the 7th, retiring the side in order.
Offensively, the Leopards mounted a persistent attack all game. Kyle Branch had 2 hits and 2 RBI. Garrett Hutchins and Matt Mainord also had a hit a piece and drove in a run.
