The Leopards beat Highland Park 3-2 to seal their fifth victory of the weekend.
Dylan Kennedy gave Lovejoy a strong start on the mound going 4 innings while allowing 2 runs, neither of which were earned. Kyle Brand threw a scoreless 5th to bridge the gap to Aiden Smith. Smith struck out 5 of the 7 batters he faced.
Offensively, Logan Corley doubled to drive in 2 of the 3 Leopard runs. Smith drove in the other.
Lovejoy will try to carry momentum into what will be a challenging cap to tournament season, facing off against some of the best teams in the state of Texas next weekend.
