Lovejoy beat McKinney 5-1 and Byron Nelson 2-1 behind two dominant starts from Leopard Pitchers.
Grant Harlan started the game against McKinney. The Junior pitched 6 innings of 2 hit ball with 5 K’s only allowing one run. Offensively, Aiden Smith (2-3, R) Logan Corley (2-3, R RBI, BB) and Matt Mainord (1-4, 2 RBI) led the Leopard attack.
Logan Corley got his 2nd start of the season against Byron Nelson. Corley threw a complete game, also allowing only one run while striking out 5. Runs were harder to come by. Kyle Branch had 2 hits and scored run and Garrett Hutchins had a clutch RBI in the 6th innings to give the Leopards the lead.
