Lovejoy dropped the first game on Saturday to Frisco Wakeland 4-2. Brett Lanman pitched 4 innings allowing 1 earned run with 7 K's. Aidan Smith, Logan Corley, Kyle Branch and Parker Hutchins each had 1 hit a piece. Corley and Branch also each drove in a run.
The Leopards lost game two to Prosper Rockhill in heartbreaking fashion, 5-4. Grant Harlan looked unhittable out of the gates striking out 10 over 4 innings while allowing 2 runs. At the plate, Aidan Smith went 2-3 with 2 RBI. Matt Mainord drove in another run in the 6th and also walked.
