After battling for 100 mins & penalties the girls soccer program move on to the 2nd round for the 1st time since 2014! The Leopards tied Reedy 1-1 after 80 minutes to take the game to extra time. Mary Mueth scored the first goal in the second half from a free kick. Mia Reaugh scored the equalizer to make it 2-2 with 3 minutes left in the second extra time after an assist from Tatum Chester. In the penalty shootout Emma Smith, Tatum Chester, Kate Carlson, and Maggie Manders scored the penalties. Nicole Young had the huge save on the final kick to move us on to the 2nd round.
The second round game will be played on Tuesday, 3/29, vs. W.T. White at Kuykendall Stadium (formerly Frisco ISD Memorial Stadium).
