Friday night the varsity girls soccer team celebrated senior night for six seniors: Amiya Callicutt, Tatum Chester, Maya Hignite, Kailey McDonald, Conley Miller, and Avery Templin. Up 1-0 at halftime vs. Denison, the Leopards scored six goals in the second half to win 7-0 and extend the team's unbeaten streak to 13. Goals were scored by Mia Reaugh (2), Emma Smith, Margo Chester, Tatum Chester, and Avery Templin (2). Assists were by Kate Carlson, Emma Smith, and Tatum Chester (2). The team is now 12-0-1 (6-0) which is the best start in program history.
The JV team continued their bright start to the season moving their record to 9-2-1 (4-1) with a 9-0 win vs. Denison. Goals were scored by Hannah Daehnert (2), Alexa Paharik, Kiera Watson (2), Sam Belatur, Rachel Dobbs, Josie Sessions, and Gracyn Thompson. Assists were by Sam Belatur (3), Kiera Watson, Hannah Daehnert, Zoe Reed, and Sophia Johnston.
Next home game is on Friday, 2/18 vs. The Colony. JV kick off at 5:30 and varsity at 7:15.
