Girls Soccer Come Back to Beat Wylie East

Friday night the girls varsity soccer team beat Wylie East 2-1. Down a goal early in the game, the Leopards fought back in the first scoring two goals from the spot. The first penalty was scored by Cambry Patrick after Tatum Chester was fouled in the box. The second penalty was scored by Mary Mueth after Mia Reaugh was fouled in the box. With some stellar defensive performances in the back, the Leopards were able to get the victory.

The JV team also beat Wylie East 1-0. An early goal was scored by Natalie Knight and assisted by Kiera Watson. The girls were able to keep the clean sheet for the rest of the game and get the victory.

Both teams are now 2-0 in district heading into Tuesday's (2/1) matchup @ Princeton. JV kickoff at 6:00 and Varsity at 7:45.
