Last weekend the JV girls soccer team played in the Duncanville Classic. In the first game, the team played Arlington and won 2-0. Goals were scored by Kiera Watson and Margo Chester. Assists were by Natalie Knight and Katie Manders. In the second game, the girls beat DeSoto 11-0. Goals: Hannah Daehnert, Eleanor Koehn, Izzie Stein (hat trick), Samatha Belatur (hat trick), and Rachel Dobbs. Assists: Kiera Watson, Rachel Dobbs (2), Izzie Stein (3), Samatha Belatur (2). Maddie Jones and Natalie Lenart were in goal for the clean sheets.
The JV team is 5-1-1 heading into the district opener vs. The Colony on Tuesday, 1/26.
