GIRLS WIN / BOYS 2ND AT LOVEJOY XC FALL FESTIVAL

On Saturday, 9.4.21, the Lovejoy Boys and Girls Cross Country teams competed at the Lovejoy XC Fall Festival on Saturday. Over 2,100 runners competed in the meet. The Elite Varsity Girls team won the team championship! The Elite Varsity Boys team placed 2nd overall. Some of the top ranked 5A teams traveled across the state to compete in the meet including Boerne Champion, College Station, Canyon Randall, Rock Hill, Wakeland, Reed, Georgetown, Magnolia West, Dripping Springs, Colleyville Heritage, and Denton. The second squad of Varsity teams placed 4th (Boys) and 8th (Girls) overall in the Open Varsity divisions. Both boys and girls JV teams placed 3rd overall in the JV division.
