Varsity Baseball Lost to Hallsville 9-8 in the Round 4 of the Playoffs
Adam Eschler started on the mound. Eschler went 5 1/3 innings giving up 4 earned runs and striking out 2. Dominic Dechant came in the 5th inning giving up 1 run on one hit in 1 2/3 innings of relief. Dylan Collins took the loss pitching the 8th inning.
Offensively, Aidan Smith 3-5 (3B, 2B, 2RBI), Kolby Branch 2-5 (2B), 2-5 (2B, 3 RBI), Matthew Mainord 1-4 (3RBI), Kyle branch 2-3 (3 Runs), and Sam Finn 2-2.
The Leopards (30-9), will play Game 2 tonight @Rockwall (7:30PM), hoping to rebound with a win to tie the series up. Game 3, if needed will be played on Saturday @Tyler (Mike Carter Field, 6:00PM).
