Varsity Baseball beat Rock Hill 5-4 to Advance to Round 4 of The State Playoffs.
Dominic Dechant started on the mound going 3 innings giving up 3 runs and 4 BB. Cade Hill came in the 4th inning to pitch out of a tight jam allowing a run, followed by Brett Lanman for 2 innings (5th and 6th). Lanman gave up 1 run on 1 hit and 2 K to earn the win. Dylan Collins finished the last inning to earn the save.
Offensively, Trent Rucker 3-3 (RBI), Ralph Rucker 1-2 (RBI), Matthew Mainord 1-2 (2RBI), and Dechant 1-3 (RBI).
Leopards (30-8) move on to Round 4 of the playoffs against Hallsville, starting on Wednesday at Whitehouse High School.
