Varsity Leopards Claws Back, But Falls Just Short Against Keller Central 11-9
The Leopards scored four runs in the second inning. Matthew Mainord, Trent Rucker, and Aidan Smith all contributed in the big inning with RBIs. In the 3rd inning one run was scored on a walk, two stolen bases and a pass ball. Then, the comeback that failed short, started with a single by Trent Rucker, two walks, an error and a ground out that plated 3 for the Leopards. Finally, in the last inning one run was scored, a single by Trent Rucker, a double down the 3rd base line by Aidan Smith, a walk to Kolby Branch and Ralph Rucker.
Trent Rucker took the loss giving up 5 runs 3 earned, on 3 hits, 1 SO and 4 BB.
Leopards drop to 4-1 on the season.
