Tuesday night the girls soccer team beat West Mesquite 2-0 on Senior Recognition Night. All nine seniors: Sadie Dale, Lexie Schuttee, Katie Irby, Katie Welch, Hailey Downing, Hannah Dunlap, Jordan Watson, Natalie Reyna, and Abby Wood started for the Leopards. In the first half, Hannah Dunlap scored after beating several players on the dribble with the assist coming from Emmy Wood. In the second half, Emma Smith extended the Leopards lead scoring from the spot after being fouled in the box.

The JV team lost to McKinney North 1-0 in a tight match up. The JV girls will play North two more times this season and will look to turn the result around next month. Overall that is a much improved performance against a JV team who have won district the past two years.
This Friday we start district vs. The Colony at LHS at 5:30/7:15.
