Boys Freshman Basketball Falls to Shepton at Home
The Leopards got off to a fast start behind Travis Shoemake's 8 first quarter points but struggled defensively and trailed by 6 points after one quarter. Shepton's defense and effort led to a second quarter to forget for Lovejoy as the Stallions out-scored the Leopards 22-4. The team regrouped at halftime and won the second half 30-29. It was a tough game only having 5 players coming off of Thanksgiving break but the boys played hard and competed the whole game. Travis Shoemake finished the game with 21 points and Brendan Cooper had 12 points of his own. This loss brings the team's record to 1-2 on the season.
