After getting out to a early lead after the first quarter, the Leopards struggled in the second quarter with turnovers as Lone Star went on a run to tie the game at half. A renewed level of energy on the defensive end in the second half helped fuel their offense in the second half as the Leopards blew the game open outscoring Lone Star 41-16 in the final two quarters. Parker Patel scored 14 points and Garrett Norwood had 10 points to go along with 5 rebounds. Griffin Peay led the second unit by taking a charge and hitting two clutch three-pointers including a buzzer beater to end the third period. This win brings the team's record to 3-0 on the season.
