The JV Red opened their season with a 56-30 win over Rockwall High School. The Leopards came out on fire by outscoring the Yellowjackets 21-3 in the first quarter.
The Leopards were led in scoring by sophomore Neil Madhav with 15 points and freshman Travis Shoemake with 11. Other scoring came from Matthew Holliman with 8 points, Brendan Cooper with 7, and Nathaniel Elbaum with 6.
Lovejoy will play Frisco Lone Star on Friday and Chisholm Trail on Saturday.
