YOUNG AND HUNGRY

The Lovejoy Girls Basketball team is coming off a successful season that saw them graduate all but one player from last year's varsity roster. Returning starter, and district 10-5A Newcomer of the Year, Samantha Basson, will be joined by a host of young players eager to make their mark at the varsity level. The Leopards have been showing a high level of commitment so far, pushing themselves to get stronger in the weight room as well as on the court through optional workouts throughout the pre-season. This year, district 10-5A adds two new opponents to the district schedule as The Colony Cougars and Rock Hill Blue Hawks join Sherman, Denison, Wylie East, McKinney North, Princeton, and Lovejoy. The Lady Leopards will start the season off with a scrimmage at home on November 3rd against Frisco Independence and will kick off the regular season on Saturday, November 7th at home against Muenster. Come out and support this young and hungry new Leopard Basketball Team.
