Lovejoy defeated Richardson 4-0 on Friday on great pitching by Adam Eschler and Josh Ringler. Eschler earned the win throwing 5 innings, allowing zero runs, on one hit and striking out two. Ringler earned the save, throwing the final two innings.
Offensively, Lovejoy collected 12 hits on the day. Dylan Collins, Kolby Branch, and Ralph Rucker each managed multiple hits.
