In a game that was meant for the playoffs, our boys shined the brightest. Sherman came to town up to the challenge, and were very deserving of the point they earned.

The scoring opened up with Cade Novicke out running the defenders to a perfect ball delivered by Michael Myers, putting the Leopards ahead 1-0. Sherman would then answer 10 minutes later to send the game to halftime all square.

The second half saw the same intensity and passion from both teams, as both sides had opportunities, but could not convert into goals. Regulation ended at 1-1. In the penalty kick period, the Leopards showed true class, and put the Bearkats away by a tally of 4-1. Sammy Merrick takes the credit for the overtime period, as he stopped the first two penalties he saw, all but eliminating Sherman quickly.

The Leopards will take a much needed Spring Break as the district will take time off to recuperate and push towards the final playoff push.
