JV Red
The Lady Leopards JV Red kept their undefeated district record Tuesday night with a 32-25 win at home against the Sherman Bearcats. Tied at 8 at the end of the first quarter, the Lady Leopards held Sherman to just 3 points in the second quarter to take a 6 point lead going into halftime. They controlled the game from that point on. Shelby Tokarz led all scorers with 14 points. Margo Friloux and Elliot Pomeroy added 7 points and 6 points, respectively. Ava Bouldin added 3 points and Audrey McCaffity had 2. The Lady Leopards will travel to Princeton Friday night for their next match up.
JV Black
The JV Black stretched their winning streak to 6 last night at home, defeating Sherman, 37-20. The Leopards were led in scoring by Katie Dolberry with 9. Kailyn Allen, Hallel Pang and Chloe Schaeffer all added 5 while Soli Stubbs and Sydney Chapman each chipped in 4. The JV will take on a tough Princeton team this Friday at Princeton.
Varsity
The varsity defeated Sherman by a score of 66-33. The Leopards were led by Julia Brochu with 19 points as she connected on 5 shots from beyond the arc. Carsen McFadden (15 points/12 rebounds) and Addison Hand(10 points/14 rebounds) both finished the game with double doubles. Other scorers included Samantha Basson 15 points, Grace Bennett 3 points, Carly Ludlow 2 points, and Avae Odza 2 points. Other statistical leaders were Carsen McFadden 8 steals/6 assists, and Addison Hand 2 blocks.
