Sometimes lessons learned are as valuable as wins. In this case, the Leopards have a great opportunity to take advantage of a great experience against a solid Byron Nelson team. The boys never could gain traction in terms of the score, allowing the Bobcats to net a goal in the first 2 minutes of each half, ultimately losing 4-3. While LHS controlled the pace, flow, and possession for great chunks of the game, it was Byron Nelson who took advantage of mistakes made in the last third of the field by our boys. Michael Myers led the Leopards with two goals, while Riley O'Donnell added a goal and an assist of his own. The Men finish a positive weekend in Central Texas with a record of 2-1 and great momentum going into next weekend's tournament in Allen.
