8TH GRADE BOYS B TEAM DEFEATS ROCKWALL CAIN

The Willow Springs Boys basketball team had their first game of the season Thursday night as they faced off against Rockwall Cain. Cain jumped out to an early lead but the Leopards battled back. At the end of the 1st quarter, Cain led 10-8. The Leopards came out strong in the 2nd quarter and were able to tie the game at 15 heading to halftime. After multiple lead changes in the 2nd half, the Leopards were able to make the plays down the stretch to come away with a 26-23 victory.
