8TH GRADE BOYS A TEAM DEFEATS ROCKWALL CAIN

The Willow Spring Boys basketball team kicked off their season Thursday night against a tough Rockwall Cain team. Both teams were competing hard in a back and forth 1st half. The Leopards played a great defensive game and held a 15-10 lead at the break. It was in the 3rd quarter where the Leopards really started to play well and extended their lead to 25-13. Rockwall Cain would not go away as they continued to fight. They eventually cut the lead to just two points but the Leopards stood strong and were able to keep their lead in the end. The final score was 35-26.
