Kellie English is in her 10th year of teaching and coaching, 8th at Lovejoy High School. Prior to coming to Lovejoy, Coach English graduated from New Braunfels High School in 2006 and attended the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor where she played four years of basketball.  After graduating in 2010, Coach English worked at Moody High School, near Waco, Texas, teaching high school math and coaching girls basketball, volleyball, and track. She came to Lovejoy High School in 2012 and has been teaching Algebra 2 and coaching girls basketball and volleyball during her time at Lovejoy. 

 

Coach English is married to Jimmy English, a science teacher and boys basketball coach at Lebanon Trail High School in Frisco. They have been married for 5 years and have two kids, Charlie (3) and Emerson (4 months) who both attend Little Lovejoy Scholars at Hart. In her free time, Coach English enjoys spending time with her family, visiting Central Texas, and visiting friends.
