My name is Andy Doughty and this is my eighth year teaching high school English. I was in Midland, TX at Lee High School for the first six years of my career and am in my second year at Lovejoy ISD. For the past five years, I have taught Sophomore Pre-AP English and have added Freshman and Juniors to the teaching resume since my time at Lovejoy. This is my sixth year of coaching in total. I have coached Head Boys & Girls Cross Country, Assistant Long Distance Track, and Assistant Baseball Coach. I am currently the Boys & Girls Assistant Cross Country Coach and Assistant Girls Softball Coach at Lovejoy High School. I graduated from Texas Tech University and am currently getting my MS in Sports Management from Texas A&M University-College Station. In what little bit of free time I do have, I like to spend it with my family, friends, traveling, running, going to the lake, and reading.
