Lovejoy took both games from Melissa over Spring Break to start district play. On Tuesday, the Leopards won 1-0 at Melissa behind the arm of Logan Corley who went 6.2 innings with 15 K. He also drove in the only run on a HBP in the 7th inning.
Senior Grant Harlan turned in another strong pitching performance on Friday to lead the Leopards to a 5-2 victory on Friday going 5 innings while only allowing 2 runs. Offensively, Reece Ogden and Matt Mainord drove in 4 of the 5 runs.
