Lovejoy beat Crandall 4-0 on Thursday.
Freshman Logan Corley was dominant on the mound going the distance allowing only 2 hits and striking out 8.
Offensively, the Leopards had two key hits that drove in all 4 runs. Kyle Branch singled with the bases loaded to drive in 2 in the 4th. Will Brown then laced a line drive to left field in the top 7 to give the Leopards some breathing room.
Leopards will try to sweep the series tomorrow at 7 at home.
