Lovejoy beat McKinney North 5-1 on Monday to even the district record with the Bulldogs (8-1). Brett Lanman threw a complete game with 9 strikeouts while only allowing 4 hits.
Offensively, the Leopards were lead by Senior Aidan Smith who went 3-3 with 2 runs. Owen Stevenson and Logan Corley also collected 2 hits. Stevenson drove in 2 runs. Lovejoy will face North again on Friday for the district championship.
