Plano East beats Leopards 7-6.
Despite outhitting the Panthers, Lovejoy was not able to come away with the win Saturday morning at Globe Life Park.

Senior Dylan Kennedy started the game for the Leopards. Despite struggling with his command, Kennedy pitched 3 innings without allowing any runs. Max Freeman and William Parkhurst allowed 7 runs recording only 3 outs. Hudson Thomas pitched the last 2 innings allowing no runs on 2 hits.

Offensively, Aiden Smith led the way with a 4-4 day with 3 RBI. Senior Jacob Migura also drove in 2 runs on a hit during his lone at bat.

Lovejoy will play for a district championship this week against McKinney North.
