Lovejoy defeated Sherman 6-2 on Friday to stay undefeated in district.
Freshman Logan Corley threw 5 shutout innings striking out 5 and only allowing 2 hits. Grant Harlan shut the door pitching the last 2 innings punching out 4.
Offensively, Owen Stevenson lead the way going 3-4 with an RBI. Aiden Smith also had 2 hits. Matt Mainord scored twice.
The Leopards will travel to Denison next Tuesday to begin their fourth district series.
