VARSITY GIRLS SOCCER COMPETE IN PRINCETON TOURNAMENT

Varsity Girls Soccer Compete in Princeton Tournament
This past weekend the Girls Varsity Soccer team competed in the Princeton Tournament, going 1-2 over the weekend. On Thursday, the Leopards lost to Mabank 2-1 despite dominating possession and creating many chances. The goal was scored by Tatum Chester and assisted by Callan Snider. In the second game on Thursday, the Leopards bounced back to beat Royse City 1-0. Freshman, Emmy Wood, scored her Varsity goal after an assist by Reagan Matacale. Hailey Downing was in goal to provide the clean sheet. On Friday, vs. McKinney High School, the Leopards came up just short, losing 1-0, despite creating several chances going forward. The game on Saturday was canceled due to the weather. Next up for the Leopards is the Georgetown Tournament.
