Coach Gros is entering his 3rd year at Lovejoy High School as the Head Baseball Coach and also teaches Geometry. Coach Gros coached high school baseball for 6 years at McKinney High School. He spent his first 5 years as an assistant coach (2015 – 2020) coaching both football and baseball, and took over as the Head Baseball Coach of the Lions for the 2021 Season. He has spent his summers coaching baseball for the Dallas Patriots and for D-Bat Elite, both of which he played for throughout high school. 

Coach Gros is a 2010 graduate of Highland Park High School where he played baseball for 4 years and served as Senior Captain for the Scots under Fred Oliver in 2010.  Following high school, he continued his education and played baseball at Panola Junior College in Carthage, TX for one year (2011), followed by three years at the University of Arkansas Fort Smith (2012 – 2014). He then stayed on at UAFS as a Student Assistant Coach (2015) to finish up his education and graduated from UAFS in the spring of 2015 with a Bachelors of Math Education. 

Coach Gros has has been married to his wife Reagan for 5 years and they have 3 daughters, Remi (3) and Addi (2) and Gracie (1).
